Computers are the new genies. July 14, 2010

Humans are pretty intelligent but what gives AI hope is that our bodies impose limits on our intelligence which aren’t imposed on parageographical neural systems. we WILL develop machines that are even more intelligent than us, and that is a scary thought: being told by a machine what is good for us, if indeed they will take our requests on board we will need to be very careful when we display our list of priorities, after all computers are the new genies.

How we will become slaves. May 12, 2008

  1. There is an force on society, which is sufficiently intelligent, and powerful enough to influence us to leave our morals behind, this is allowed so that:
  2. there will be chaos, and in the midst of chaos there will be a new world order come to bring peace, but:
  3. for this peace we will be forced to give everything.
  • Law and justice is not always perfect, and yes it is terrible when innocent people suffer because justice fails, but if justice is not DEFINEDQUICK, POWERFUL TO POINT OF DEATH, AND TRUSTED, our whole society will pay a price, a very high price:
  • Before we discuss this in detail we should have a look at what is happening in our society:
    • What is jail meant to be? Less trust, higher walls, more surveillance, more security personnel, less personal liberty.
    • What is society meant to be? More trust, less walls, less surveillance,  less security personnel, more personal liberty, less crime!
    • What is happening to Jail? More trust, lower walls, less surveillance, less security.
    • What is happening in our society? Instead of criminals being punished for what they do, we are all being punished. Instead of prisons put into society, our society is being put into prison. We are forced to lock ourselves in our own homes  while criminals roam the street free and put fear into our lives, not only that; we are the ones that shoulder the burden of being subject to extra security checks and protocols everywhere we go, being trusted less,  paying more for consumables because of crime, and we are the ones being treated like numbers, being forced to invasions of privacy and screening.
  • There was a time when the world had justice and liberty, since then our justice has drastically changed, it is barely recognizable, and now is anyone afraid to commit crime?
  • There are two types of control, self control, and external control, Instead of self control, humans are controlled externally, Instead of managing crime now, the beast has decided to manage us by taking our liberties one by one, not so that we don’t want to commit crime, but so that we can’t even if we want to. How far will the loss of our freedoms go? When will it stop? When there is perfect peace and no crime? How many rights and freedoms do we have to lose before it’s all lost? They say it’s for our good, but how many more terrorist attacks or domestic crimes will it take for us to submit our freedoms to the beast? Will the beast not demand ALL OF OUR LIBERTIES for peace?
  • Once we give all our liberties over in return for peace we have essentially given our minds and bodies over to the beast, this is the actual definition of worship.
  • Of course we won’t go to worshipping the beast right away, full control will happen slowly, one step at a time, like slow boiling a frog, we won’t notice the heat rising, being locked down unable to move.
  • Becoming a police state is not the biggest thing we should be worrying about, a police state is free compared to what is coming because police can’t be everywhere at once, what is scarier is the omnipresent surveillance and omnipotent control methods being invented now that will be ready for the time we are under full control.
  • This full control is all in the name of peace, but how peaceful is being under full control?
  • There is only one hope; that doesn’t involve an Orwellian style locking down of all citizens, the only hope that we can have peace with any civil liberty remaining, is for all citizens to have fear within them, a FEAR of punishment and repercussion.  A common, fair and equal code of this fear known to all citizens is known as MORALITY.
  • Morality is mostly taught, by example and punishment for acting immorally.
  • A revival of morality is our ONLY HOPE, and one of the only tools of inducing this morality is JUSTICE, but presently justice is becoming more impotent.
  • The type of justice which is most effective is called corporal punishment (the word comes from latin corpus, which means the body), it is where physical pain is bestowed upon offenders, it is the cheapest, most effective form of punishment known to man, yet we attempt to use less effective methods, methods which give justice little power.
  • Morality and justice is lacking because justice has become impotent for these reasons:
    • Courts are too afraid of repercussions when judgements are wrong.
    • The cost of policing, justice, and jails, is seen as too expensive.
    • Corruption may be involved.
    • The immorality system actually preserves its self by means of:
      •  Actually turning the tables and outlawing free-speech against immoral practices
      • Injustice and immorality are a cycle, ie: justice in the hands of immoral people will become injustice, and injustice, enables immoral people to thrive, and moral people to be overtaken.
      • People are afraid of what happens if an innocent person is punished. Criminals are seen as too precious, fragile and important to society.
    • There is an force on society, which is sufficiently intelligent, and powerful enough to influence us to leave our morals behind, this is allowed so that there will be chaos, and in the midst of chaos there will be a new world order come to bring peace, but for this peace we will lose everything.
  • Capitalism is the strongest force in our society, and the highest ordered entity is the corporation.
  • Corporations are the highest ordered entities in society, yet corporations are not required to have moral conscience, to survive in society, moral conscience is the first thing to be shed.
  • It is becoming imperative that citizens in society, to survive, must either work for a corporation, or go into business in direct competition with corporations, if corporations are required to have no moral conscience, then for a citizen to either join, or competing against a corporation successfully, morality and conscience must be shed by the citizen also.
  • We are living in a world which is mathematically against morality, justice, and conscience, yet has an imperative for peace, the only thing that remains is external control over humans, this is how we will all become slaves.

Business and fairness May 9, 2008

Business? It’s a necessary evil. We’re forced to succeed at business like one is forced to breathe at birth with a slap. It’s not ideal in this world but what are the alternatives? We can only hope to be fair.
